After you submit the form, we will email you payment instructions along with any questions.
Deceased parties: If someone on title has passed, there may be additional requirements to transfer title, and we will help find the solution. The public records search from this order begins that process and clarifies the steps needed to transfer ownership. Additional costs may apply, and this payment is credited toward that solution. If we are unable to assist, we refund your payment less document retrieval costs.
Parcels vs. lots: The easiest way to tell is the number of tax bills for the property you are transferring. Multiple lots can be a single tax parcel. Most transfers are one parcel (use 1 if not sure); we confirm it in our public records search.
Grantees (the people you are transferring to) may not be: minors, deceased persons, mentally disabled persons, or persons without proper identification.
Easy Title does not provide real estate, legal or tax advice. The sole purpose of this service is to help parties transfer the Grantor's ownership and/or rights, as stated in the Deed Order Request, to the Grantee.
Notice: Your instrument will be prepared by Easy Title Insurance, LLC solely from information and instruction provided by the Grantor and/or Grantee. No title insurance policy will be purchased and no title opinion is being provided by Easy Title Insurance, LLC. Grantor, in executing and delivering this instrument, and Grantee, in accepting delivery, acknowledge that no title insurance or title opinion is being provided in connection with the execution and delivery of this instrument or the conveyance of real estate.
Additional fees may be incurred to perfect the conveyance, for example: multiple chains of title, multiple parcel transfers, mobile notary assistance, or out-of-state assistance.
Easy Title may cancel an order and refund payment (less incurred costs) if we determine that:
You may cancel your order at any time. Refunds (less incurred costs) may be provided within 30 days of cancellation by mutual agreement, if an attorney and/or legal advice is necessary to convey the property, or if proper identification cannot be provided by the grantees.
